Dylan Otto Krider is a professional Java coder, writer and journalist.
Krider has been an editor for the Houston Press and staff writer for the Daily Camera/Broomfield Enterprise. His articles have appeared in Dissent, Kenyon Review, Writers' Digest and Skeptic Magazine.
Krider's fiction has been published in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Vol. I, Asimov's and Confrontations. He is the winner of the Asimov Award and Writers of the Future Contest, and his first novel Taking Over was a finalist for the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award. He was the first person the Andrew Nurnberg agency took on in three years.
Stage and Film
Krider has written over 100 ADR scripts for ADV Films and has written for radio. He has had a one-act play produced in New York and selected for the One-Act Play Festival, and was a regular sketch writer for Comedy Corner.
Ones and Zeros Pixelshow
Krider curates the independent film series Ones and Zeros Pixelshow and organized the international Build-A-Brickbuster Contest that sought the best short films using LEGO bricks. He has hosted such notable filmmakers as Bill Plympton for a screening and workshop.
Krider's photographs and videos have been published on the cover of Friday Magazine, in local newspapers and posted on several national media sites.
